second webpage

So starting from scratch was easier than we thought. Didnt bother adding any effects to the background this time, just left it black and kept it simple. Resized all our photos on the web, pretty good site, did most of the work for us. Sliced all the buttons again, Still couldnt figure out how to create the content page again so we just deleted that section in dreamweaver and typed in dreamweaver. We added pictures and linked them to the larger versions of them to open in a new page. This was very easy to do, easier than I thought it would be. We tried to create the zoom feature but we couldnt get it to work. It created a new page but scrolling the mouse over the image didnt make any diference so we left this out of our page.

Could not figure out how to do much for this ca. Thought it was just too complicated. Ended up not creating a content slice which meant that any text I wanted to add would have to be done on a seperate photoshop file then exported in. Total disaster!! Was going ok until I deleted parts of the file by accident when trying to save it onto a cd and ended up doing the whole thing from scratch.

Dust off ur wardrobe

Myself and Sarah are basing our webpage on fashion in times of a recession. We chose this topic as it is a current crisis that most of us are now faced with....not enough money to buy new clothes(unless of course you're Sarah and you practically own shares in RiverIsland!!)

Anywho, we wanted to create an animated gif like one we seen on the off the rails site with a lipstick writing text on the screen but it was an advert on the link below that appears to have been replaced by a top gear ad!!! http://www.rte.ie/fashion/2009/0914/recessionproof.html
So can't really explain it now but it actually was good.

It wasn't too easy to create so we decided to go for the idea of a mirror with a layer of dust being wiped off, kinda like the one at the start of How Clean Is Your House? Can't say it's going too well seeing as I don't attend class too often.

I actually don't have a clue what I'm supposed to be writing right now. I hate this blog shit and I only realised it was due about 5 minutes ago so to be honest that isn't helping much.

Basically we are trying to create a site that will have price tags shapes as the buttons, with a mirror shape on the right hand side that will have text and a logo in the top right corner(the design of which has yet to be decided).

Here we go again....

Can you dudes believe we hafta do this blog thingy all over again!!!! I for one am not impressed, not impressed at all!!!!
